Celebrating Our Past, Building Our Future

Leadership transitions at Harmony House

At Harmony House, we know that strong leadership is vital to the success of our mission—and we’re proud to share two important leadership updates that reflect both heartfelt transition and well-earned growth.

First, after many years of visionary leadership our CEO Meg Pohodich, has made the bittersweet decision to step down. This change comes after deep personal reflection and a commitment to prioritizing mental health and healing. Her departure marks the end of an inspiring chapter, one defined by bold advocacy, strategic partnerships, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every person we serve. Her leadership helped shape Harmony House into the compassionate, community-driven organization it is today—and we are endlessly grateful.

Stepping into this role is Preston Witt, a trusted leader who has been part of the Harmony House family for over 20 years. With a long-standing commitment to addressing homelessness and strong ties to community partners and local government, Preston is well-positioned to lead Harmony House into its next chapter. We’re excited to welcome him into this role and confident in his ability to continue our legacy of impact, stability, and progress.

We’re also thrilled to announce that Lauren Butler has been promoted to Director of Operations. Lauren’s thoughtful leadership, deep understanding of our programs, and dedication to our mission have made her an invaluable member of our team. This well-deserved promotion recognizes her incredible work and positions us for continued growth and innovation.

Please join us in thanking Meg for her transformative leadership, in congratulating Preston on his new role as CEO, and in celebrating Lauren’s promotion. Harmony House is stronger because of each of them—and because of every one of you.

Together, we move forward.
