Deep Freeze

Starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, the City of Houston will open 10 warming centers throughout the city to offer shelter and assistance to those in need. These centers will operate continuously, 24/7, until midday on Thursday, January 23, though this schedule may be adjusted as needed.

Visitors to the warming centers are permitted to keep their belongings with them during their stay. The centers will be staffed by health and safety professionals and equipped with essential supplies.
