Worker Dorm

Our Worker Dorm is a 128-bed transitional housing facility for working men. Our dorm provides safe accommodations for men who are employed but have nowhere to live. It’s a vital opportunity to get back on their feet and eventually transition to independent housing or reunite with family, if possible.

Harmony House is on the approved Alternate Housing Resource list (AHR) for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and allows parolees to live in the dorm as long as they quickly secure employment. As an extremely low-barrier housing option, there is no minimum or maximum stay—and most of the men who live at the Residence would be homeless if not for Harmony House.
